Be capable of providing professional technical support for OEMs in charge;

Lead and organize the technical resource to support customer and develop the technical proposal to win the competition;

Technical window for main OEMs not limited at technology, production, Quality etc.

 

Main Tasks

Provide necessary support to sales personnel including technology selection, proposal fine tuning, test design, data package review;

Foresee market requirement to formulate and enforce the right technology strategy for China in conjunction with R&D, product management & marketing

Provide basic technical training and guidance to sales personnel and customers;

Project management for fulfill customers’ requirement;

Support on site problem shooting;

 

Requirements

Education: Bachelor, Master degree or above will be preferred;

Working Experience: less than 3 years’ experience in technical area of automotive & automotive parts industry; (Fresh graduates, need good command of English and quick learning ability)

Technical & Professional Knowledge: 1). Automotive/mechanical engineering or Chemical engineering; 2). Good Capability of understanding 5 core tools is a plus

Main Tasks

  • Translate contracted freight agreements into operations’ system & processes for day-to-day use.
  • Ensure service changes (slow steaming / service phase in & phase out / rotation changes) within the tender period are promptly translated to operational level.
  • Monitor utilization rate of and adherence to contracted quota.
  • Operational alignment and troubleshooting including forecast and manage LCL/AIR demand to avoid lacking of service, support efficient crisis management / Incident communication, resolve LCL and Air booking issues, documentation issues, etc.
  • Oversight for supply chain third party provider operations, ensuring understanding and adherence to BASF requirements and service level objectives.
  • Optimize and monitor service provider relationships and performance & conduct operational review meetings with service providers: Build strong operational relationships across the supply chain between third party providers and BASF; Evaluate partner service levels through key performance measurements. Monitoring, reporting and root cause analysis of third party services; analyze misses and ensure preventive/corrective actions.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process and cost improvement.
  • Provide operational requirements and performance data into and assist in the selection of service providers.
  • Perform non-conformance management/coordination.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related discipline.
  • 3~5 years working experience in logistics and/or import & export operation related.
  • Have knowledge in Supply Chain Processes, Transportation Management (LCL and Air) preferred.

Main Tasks

  • Manage technology development regionally in coordination with global NBD units in order to develop short and long term attractive and innovative solutions for NBD projects, start-ups and consumer electronics as part of the long term NBD & 3C market penetration strategies. 
  • Manage the overall technology development roadmap (including Consumer Electronics) and utilize experts from within BASF Coatings globally to gain insights in new technology development and leap-frog the technical development. 
  • Manage the labs, lab planning, lab schedules, EHS standards and EHS initiatives, improvements, general quality and capabilities together with the lab team. 
  • Manage production together with tolling partner, including review meetings, staff trainings, production parameters and guidelines, quality control of incoming and outgoing products. 
  • Accountability to identify new business opportunities for coating department with new/adapted products and technologies; systematic screening of technologies, manage technical feasibility studies of new ideas, monitor competitors, industry needs and pain points. 
  • Drive collaboration network synergies within BASF, institutes, customers etc. 
  • Plan, initiate, manage and document NBD projects within the framework of Phase Gate including securing know-how through IP. 
  • Support the preparation of business cases for these solutions 
  • Support and adapt new products/process changes through customer interaction and continuous improvement of known limitations 
  • Responsible for technology budget planning, CapEx planning and cost control

 

Requirements

  • Master or higher degree in Chemistry
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the coatings industry Experience with paint formulation, paint application, lab management and paint production. 
  • Good team player with strong analytical skills 
  • Creative and open-minded 
  • Excellent communication skill in verbal and written English is a must. German and other Asian languages are an added benefit
