Position Responsibilities

1. Prepare expense reports on behalf of associates, ensuring compliance to policy, procedure and guidelines. 2. Ensure “New” in scope associates are onboarded to our expense tracking processes and have access to all systems, policies, guidelines,. Etc. Exception would be associates who have their own dedicated EA. 3. Book travel on behalf of in scope associates, ensuring compliance to policy, procedure and guidelines. Ensure new associates are onboarded to our travel booking processes. 4. Ensure process documentation and training materials online/portal for Travel and Expenses are up to date. Expert knowledge of these processes and materials required to lead training efforts when new associates join and/ or process change requires communication. 5. Manage reporting on delinquent accounts and T&E general and roll-up reporting as required as well as manage proxy access, credit card applications for all in scope associates. 6. Completes work assignments by identifying priorities, managing to deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. 7. Assists team with general data management by filing and maintaining documents including paper and electronic forms; entering and proofing data in existing templates; updating documentation (for example, charts, presentations, memos); determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback and maintaining data security and confidentiality; and escalating data security risks. 8. Assists with team operations by responding to concerns and requests; recommending solutions or resources based on defined process; completing daily and weekly routine activities; ordering supplies; ensuring office equipment is maintained; and escorting and supporting visiting / new associates and guests. 9. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices. 10. Administer New Associate set-up process and procedure in partnership with ISD and HR.

  • Finance support for Replenishment led projects including ROI development, prioritization of capital or operational expenses and recommendation of course correcting activities based on pre/post analysis.
  • Liaise with other Finance teams and manage all month end and forecast activities effecting Merchandise Finance.
  • Maintain operational aspects of Essbase and/or Access database(s), templates and procedures for Merchandise Finance.
  • Recruit and coach a team of (Senior) / Financial Analysts, providing mentoring and development opportunities.

  • Leads and/or coordinates the development and communication of comprehensive and balanced financial analyses dealing with the entire stores portfolio or a group of stores sharing similar parameters to help the Real Estate `shape its strategy (analyses on format, size, financial performance, value-generating RE opportunities, asset condition, competition, …) and prioritize spend and capital investments against their strategic objectives.   
  • Develops and promotes an analysis framework based on objectivity, accuracy, critical thinking and end-to-end understanding of the opportunities or problems. 
  • Partners with and challenges the business partners to identify analyses drivers and assumptions. 
  • Identifies improvements in the management of the Real Estate portfolio. Collaborates with Walmart International Real Estate teams to identify global best practices.  
  • Supports the lease renewals process and the lease renewal strategy
  • Develops pro froma models for new formats
  • Is the main point of contact of the Licensee team in the Finance Department; builds the tools to create visibility on their financial performance and to help them manage the licensee portfolio, plans, analyzes and reports on their financial results. Proactively analyzes key trends, identifies risks and opportunities, and recommends plans and contingencies to support the business teams’ delivery against annual financial targets.
