Essential Responsibilities:

 • Conduct daily Start of Shift meeting and identify any potential job delays at the mould visual control board and manage headcount• Communicate performance status at the daily Production meeting (management by walkabout element)• Support end of shift performance review and develop recovery actions as required, create effective shift handover notes• Communicate the content of the visual control boards• Review in detail the last blade performance, quality and cycle time trends, understand key cycle time milestones and targets• Ensure daily 5S inspections of the mould are conducted• Support weekly 5S audits and ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations• Understand the Foundation level processes of the LM Production system (LMPS)• Be able to facilitate small Kaizen workshops and Continuous Improvement activities as required• Feedback to Blade Production Managers information on lessons learnt,identify and contribute to the implementation of Work Instruction changes• Promote training requirements for dedicated team members• Monitor team performance• Manage skills matrices on the visual control boards• Coach team members on how to perform their role• Ensure proper induction of new production team members• Manage annual performance interviews for all production team members 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 • Education:Technical High school diploma OR 5 years supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment;• Understand the foundation level processes of the LMPS• Man hours and material cost tracking experience• Minimal computer usage skills• Workable English

Essential Responsibilities: 

The Data Scientist will be part of a data science or cross-disciplinary team on commercially-facing development projects, typically involving large, complex data sets. These teams typically include statisticians, computer scientists, software developers, engineers, product managers, and end users, working in concert with partners in GE business units. Potential application areas include remote monitoring and diagnostics across infrastructure and industrial sectors, financial portfolio risk assessment, and operations optimization. Develop analytics within well-defined projects to address customer needs and opportunities. Work alongside software developers and software engineers to translate algorithms into commercially viable products and services. Work in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods. Work with data engineers on data quality assessment, data cleansing and data analytics. Generate reports, annotated code, and other projects artifacts to document, archive, and communicate The work and outcomes. Share and discuss findings with team members. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 • Bachelor’s Degree in a “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)• Minimum 1 year analytics development in a commercial setting• Demonstrated skill in the use of one or more analytic software tools or languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python)• Demonstrated skill at data cleansing, data quality assessment, and using analytics for data assessment• Demonstrated skill in the use of applied analytics, descriptive statistics, and predictive analytics on industrial datasets• Fluent Mandarin and English languages.
